Future employment opportunities?

Luckily, even as a chair I never had to do career advising but here goes. I had a friend Ron Kita who owned a small factory that manufactured work gloves. He was the sole employee, he did maintenance and repair of the machinery and sold the product. A friend of my wife has a husband who did a similar job in a larger factory. So one might hope to deploy, service, maintain, and repair robots. Mechatronics might offer good prospects either as an engineer or technician.

Arduino Uno Q

I should have waited a few months. I should not have tried to be an early adopter. Arduino Uno Q is a mess. Paul McWhorter's review* is spot on. It was so much easier getting started with the old original Arduino Uno.

Also, Arduino is not as open-source as it once was in light of the rewrite of its Terms of Service.**
